Direct-to-garment printing puts photographic, full-colour artwork straight onto the fabric. The right choice for small runs, detailed designs, and one-off samples.
Choose DTG when the artwork has gradients, photographic detail or more colours than screen print can economically carry, or when you need a short run: a design test, a small team, a sample before committing to a larger screen printed order. There are no screens and no per-colour setup, so a run of 5 costs sensible money.
DTG works best on high-cotton garments in light and mid colours. On dark garments a white underbase is printed first, which we factor into the quote. For large runs of simple artwork, screen print usually wins on price; we will quote both when the numbers are close.
